Lemna perpusilla is an aquatic plant with important ecological functions, particularly as anatural feed sourcedueto its high protein content. This studyaimed to determine the optimal concentration of palm oil mill effluent (POME) as a growth medium for Lemna perpusilla. The research was conducted from October to November 2023 at the Algae Production House 3, Sei Galuh Palm Oil Mill, Kampar. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was employed with four treatments and three replications, including a control: K (0% effluent), P1 (15%), P2 (25%), and P3 (35%), resulting in a total of 12 experimental units. Observed parameters included Lemna perpusilla biomass, pH, temperature, and water transparency, measured every two days for 21 days. Meanwhile, concentrations of nitrate, phosphate, dissolved oxygen (DO), and carbon dioxide (CO₂) were measured at the beginning, middle, and end of the experiment. Results showed that Lemna perpusilla biomass ranged from 10.00 to 32.55 g, with specific growth rates (SGR) ranging from 0.4% to 12.2%. Nitrate concentrations ranged from 6.573 to 0.968 mg/L, and phosphate from 1.817 to 0.141 mg/L. CO₂ levels ranged from 11.03 to 2.13 mg/L, while DO ranged from 2.5 to 7.8 mg/L. The pH values ranged from 5 to 9, temperature from 28-31°C, and light intensity between 2000-4000 lux. Statistical analysis using One-Way ANOVA on Lemna perpusilla biomass indicated significant differences among treatments. Further analysis using the Student-Newman-Keuls (SNK) test revealed that treatment P1 (15% effluent) was the most effective in supporting the growth of Lemna perpusilla.
