Analisis Tindakan Sosial (Studi Kasus Remaja Lulusan Sma Yang Tidak Melanjutkan Ke Perguruan Tinggi Di Desa Koto Benai Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi)
This study aims to analyze the social actions of adolescents who graduated from high school who did not continue their education to higher education in Koto Benai Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study uses the theory of social action (Max Weber) which divides social actions into four types: instrumental rational, value-oriented, affective, and traditional. This study uses a qualitative approach. The qualitative approach was used with an in-depth interview method of sevents who were selected purposively. Data was obtained through field observation and documentation. The results of the study show that adolescents' decisions not to continue higher education are influenced by economic, family, and environmental factors. From the perspective of Max Weber's theoretical actions, their actions are singular but are a combination of all four types of social actions. For example, economic considerations (such as cost constraints) reflect instrumental rational actions, while emotional distress or a sense of responsibility towards the family include affective actions. In addition, traditional cultures that lack emphasis on the importance of higher education reinforce traditional patterns of action.
