Potensi Trichoderma Spp. Sebagai Agen Antagonis Terhadap Jamur Patogen Ganoderma Boninense Dan Colletotrichum Spp
Plant diseases caused by pathogenic fungi are one type of disease that attacks cultivated plants. This study aims to test the activity of Trichoderma spp. local isolates of Riau against pathogenic fungi Ganoderma boninense and Colletotrichum spp. the Colletotrichum spp. isolation were taken from Capsiccum annuum fruit and Sansevieria trifasciata leaves with symptoms of anthracnose disease. The isolates were assay in Koch's Postulates, dual culture, and slide culture. Koch's Postulate results showed symptoms of anthracnose disease on C. annuum fruit, are blackish necrotic spots on the surface, wrinkling until decay. Koch's Postulate on S. trifasciata leaves showed symptoms of brown orange spots and black acervuli. The results of the antagonistic dual culture test showed that Trichoderma sp. GBA1 exhibited a significantly higher inhibitory effect against G. boninense with an inhibition rate of 75,35%. Trichoderma sp. GBA1 and STA2 demonstrated inhibitory effects against Colletotrichum sp. isolated from C. annuum fruits, with inhibition rates of 52,00% and 46,50%, respectively. Most Trichoderma spp. isolates were also effective in inhibiting Colletotrichum sp. from S. trifasciata leaves, showing inhibition rates ranging from 41,25% to 4800%. The hyphae of Trichoderma spp. coiled around and lysed G. boninense and Colletotrichum spp. hyphae, indicating the presence of antagonistic interactions.
Key findings: antagonistic test, Colletotrichum spp., G. boninense, Koch’s
