Rancangbangun Aplikasi Pengelolaan Magang Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Prototype Di Bps Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
The internship management process at the Central Bureau of Statistics Riau Province faced various challenges, including costs and time for prospective participants, risks of physical document damage or loss, difficulties in monitoring internship slot availability, subjective intern performance evaluations, and inconsistent certificate formats. To address these issues, a web-based internship management application was developed to overcome these problems. This research used the Prototype development method and included rigorous testing with the FURPS+ standard. Functionality demonstrated 100% implementation success for all main features. Usability (System Usability Scale - SUS) achieved excellent scores (Leaders: 100, Supervisors: 94.72, Interns: 86.25). Reliability and Security (SonarQube) both received an 'A' rating. Performance (PageSpeed Insights) showed 28 out of 31 pages achieving scores between 90-99 ("very good"). Supportability obtained an 'A' maintainability rating, and portability was 100% compatible across various browsers. This research used experimental methodology and prototype-based development. Data analysis, conducted through Chi-Square test and quantitative descriptive analysis, confirmed the application's effectiveness. Chi-Square test results showed a value of X2=28>Xtable=16.81, and descriptive analysis of supervisor and admin responses showed a very high percentage of "Yes" answers, so H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, indicating that the application had a significant impact in addressing challenges of high costs and time for prospective participants, risks of physical document damage or loss, difficulties in monitoring internship slot availability, subjective intern performance evaluations, and inconsistent certificate formats.
