Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Pengelolaan Presensi Magang Berbasis Web Di Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
The internship attendance process at the Central Bureau of Statistics Riau Province was previously conducted manually without location verification or visual documentation, making it vulnerable to data manipulation and resulting in less valid and accurate records. To address this issue, a web-based attendance application was developed incorporating real-time GPS location detection and a selfie feature as proof of presence. The application was built using the Laravel framework, supplemented by libraries such as Leaflet.js for interactive mapping and Webcam.js for capturing photos directly via the user's camera. Testing based on the FURPS+ model demonstrated excellent results. Functionality testing showed a 100% success rate for all core features, while the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded an average score between 90 and 100, indicating high usability. Reliability and security assessments via SonarQube received an A rating. Performance evaluation using PageSpeed Insights revealed that 11 out of 13 pages scored between 90 and 99 (“Good”). Supportability tests achieved an A rating for maintainability, and portability testing confirmed 100% compatibility across various browsers. This study employed an experimental and prototype-based development methodology. The Chi-Square test results show the value of Xcount = 28 > Xtabel = 16.81, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1) and rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). These findings confirm that the application significantly reduces data manipulation and improves the validity and accuracy of attendance data.
