survey kebugaran jasmani melalui tes kebugaran pelajar nusantara pada siswa kelas viii smp negeri 1 kuok
Physical fitness in schools needs to be developed to support the achievement of an optimal teaching and learning process. A lack of physical fitness can affect both the physical and mental performance of students, making them unprepared or unable to handle the workload involved in learning activities—an obligation that students face every day. However, the researcher observed that the teacher had never conducted a physical fitness test on the students. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a survey of physical fitness using the Nusantara Student Fitness Test (TKPN) for Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kuok. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, and the instrument used is the Nusantara Student Fitness Test (TKPN). The population in this study consisted of 26 male students from Grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Kuok. The researcher used total sampling, meaning the entire population was taken as the sample, resulting in a total of 26 students. The data analysis technique used was calculating the percentage of students in each fitness category. Based on the results of the physical fitness survey using the Nusantara Student Fitness Test (TKPN), the average fitness score of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kuok was 1.55, which falls into the "Low" category, as it lies within the score range of 1–1.9 according to TKPN norms.
