Hubungan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Nearpod Dan Literasi Digital Dengan Pemahaman Materi Mata Kuliah Menulis Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Riau
This study aims to determine the relationship between Nearpod-based interactive learning media and digital literacy on the comprehension of writing course material among students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Universitas Riau. The research employed a quantitative approach with a non-experimental correlational design. The sample consisted of one class of second-semester students who had previously engaged with Nearpod in writing instruction. Data collection was conducted through a 50-item formative test and questionnaires measuring Nearpod use and digital literacy. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression tests. The results revealed a positive and significant relationship between the use of Nearpod interactive media and students’ comprehension of writing materials. Meanwhile, digital literacy showed a positive but not statistically significant relationship when assessed independently. However, both variables together demonstrated a positive and significant relationship with students’ comprehension when analyzed simultaneously. These findings suggest that interactive learning media such as Nearpod can significantly improve writing instruction, especially when supported by well-developed student digital literacy skills.
