The Implementation Of Tpack By English Teachers Of Sman 1 Tembilahan
In this modern era, the utilization of technology is crucial element in the educational field. Moreover, teachers should prepare well in integrating effective teaching and learning activities as well as understanding the content of what they want to teach to create effective learning that concerns technology. Seeing the importance of the use of technology in learning activities in the 21st century, teachers are required to develop their knowledge. Owing to this, technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) would be an appropriate framework to apply the teaching and learning process. The purpose of the study in this paper is to find out the implementation of TPACK by English teachers of SMAN 1 Tembilahan. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative method by collecting the data through observation, interviews, and documentation from the two teachers in the school. The result shows that the English teachers in SMAN 1 Tembilahan have implemented TPACK such as technology, content, and pedagogy in their learning.
