Rancangan Poster Keanekaragaman Jenis Kantong Semar (Nepenthes Spp.) Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Di Kawasan Arboretum Gambut Marsawa Kecamatan Bukit Batu Bengkalis
The Marsawa Peat Arboretum is a form of local wisdom in efforts to preserve various plant species and peat ecosystems. This area is under the management of PT Pertamina RU-II Sungai Pakning. The arboretum is located on 1.1 hectares of peatland that was saved from the devastating fires that ravaged the area from 2013 to 2015. This initiative stemmed from the awareness of the local community, particularly the arboretum manager, "Mr. Sadikin". Initially, this land was a forest that Sadikin used to grow vegetables and rubber trees for a livelihood. However, after discovering endemic flora such as pitcher plants (Nepenthes spp.) growing naturally, as well as various other plant species such as gelam, geronggang, and leban, the area was developed into an arboretum educational tourism area because it meets the criteria for a conservation area. Unfortunately, studies on the biodiversity of the Marsawa Peat Arboretum are still very limited. To date, the species of pitcher plants growing in this area have not been definitively identified. Local residents believe all pitcher plants are the same species. Therefore, further research is needed to identify the types and characteristics of the pitcher plants (Nepenthes spp.) found in this region.....
