Status Keberlanjutan Perikanan Tangkap Bagan Perahu Berdasarkan Aspek Ekonomi, Ekologi, Dan Teknologi Di Perairan Bungus Provinsi Sumatera Barat
The assessment of fishing desire is very important to maintain the balance between utilization and conservation of marine resources. This study aims to stop the status of the bagan boat fishing gear in the Bungus Waters, West Sumatra Province, based on three main aspects, namely economy, ecology, and technology using the RAPFISH approach. The research method used was a survey with a purposive sampling technique on local fishermen. The results of the analysis showed that the economic aspect had a desire index of 67.59% (quite sustainable), the ecological aspect was 72.81% (quite sustainable), and the technological aspect was 26.41% (less sustainable). These findings indicate that improving the technological aspect is an important priority in efforts to increase the desire for bagan boat fishing. The limitations of this study lie in the scope which only covers one port location and three aspects of the ecosystem, so the results do not represent fishing conditions on a wider scale.
