Pengaruh Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Dan Disposisi Matematis Siswa Kelas VII SMP Kecamatan Binjai Kota
Problem solving is the core of mathematics learning, but many students experience difficulties due to the lack of effective strategies in understanding and solving problems. The mathematical problem-solving ability of junior high school students is still relatively low, this is caused by the lack of conceptual understanding that students have, so they tend to only memorize formulas without understanding their application. As a result, when students are faced with various problems, they have difficulty solving them, there is an affective aspect that also plays a role in students' understanding of mathematics well, namely mathematical disposition. Efforts to create optimal mathematical problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions are to create interactive classes that are able to make learning more meaningful by solving real problems in the form of mathematical models by applying the Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) approach.
The purpose of this study is 1) to describe the results of a comprehensive study on the differences in the increase in KPMM of students using the PMR approach with conventional learning, 2) to describe the results of a comprehensive study on the differences in the increase in KPMM of students using the PMR approach with conventional learning in KAM, 3) to describe the results of a comprehensive study on the differences in the increase in Mathematical Disposition of students using the PMR approach with conventional learning, 4) to describe the results of a comprehensive study on the differences in the increase in Mathematical Disposition of students using the PMR approach with conventional learning in KAM, 5) to describe the results of a comprehensive study on the interaction between learning factors and KAM factors on the increase in KPMM, 6) to describe the results of a comprehensive study on the interaction between learning factors and students' mathematical disposition. The benefits of this study are to provide input for teachers and education practitioners regarding the implementation of the PMR approach and to broaden the researcher's insight regarding the PMR approach.....
