Tingkat Kepuasan Nelayan Terhadap Pelayanan Aktivitas Pendaratan Ikan Di Tangkahan Berjaya Usaha Sakti Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan
The fishermen at this port use a variety of fishing gear, including purse seines, trawl nets, bottom trawls, gillnets, and longlines. In 2025, the fishing fleet at the Belawan Ocean Fishing Port consisted of 467 vessels, with purse seines, bag trawls, and anchovy trawls being the most commonly used fishing gear. The increase in the number of fishermen and fishing vessels indicates a growing demand for landing sites where fishing activities are conducted. Fishing landing activities at the landing site provide the necessary time for fish to be landed until distribution, with the condition of the pier, available facilities, and the readiness of port staff playing a crucial role in the smooth operation of fishing landing activities conducted by fishermen. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of fishermen's satisfaction with the services provided during fish landing activities at the BUS fishing port and to identify the factors that hinder fishermen's satisfaction with the port's performance in fish landing activities. This study was conducted at Tangkahan Berjaya Usaha Sakti Belawan Ocean Fisheries Port. The methods used in this study were validity and reliability tests for analysis, specifically Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the study indicate that there are three services measured, each with different results. For example, fishermen's satisfaction with clean water facilities has a CSI value of 72.45%, pier services have a value of 68.65%, and basket services have a value of 76.75%. All three services are categorized as satisfactory because they fall within the range of 0.66-0.80. Although the services provided are already categorized as satisfactory, they must continue to improve their performance and services so that the customer satisfaction index value can approach 1 or 100%.
