The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Active,
Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable Learning (PAIKEM) approach in
PJOK learning in grade 4 of SD IT Iskandar Muda with a limited number of
students, identify the challenges faced, evaluate the impact of its implementation
on student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes, and develop strategies
to overcome obstacles in order to improve the effectiveness of PJOK learning. The
benefits of this study are to improve motivation, active participation, and student
learning outcomes in PJOK subjects in the implementation of the PAIKEM model.
The type of research used in this study is action research and is carried out in two
cycles, each cycle begins with planning, action, observation, and reflection. The
subjects of this study were all grade IV students of SD IT Iskandar Muda totaling
11 students. The results of this study indicate that there was an increase in student
learning outcomes, as evidenced by the data in cycle 1, students who were
categorized as complete were 4 students (36%) and students who did not complete
were 7 students (64%). In cycle II, a significant increase was seen that students who
completed were 10 students (91%) and those who did not complete were 1 student
(9%). From the results of the Paired Samples T-Test analysis, it can be concluded
that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of Cycle 1 and
Cycle 2 after the PAIKEM model was implemented. With a p value = 0.000 which
is much smaller than 0.05. The results of this test prove that the application of the
PAIKEM model in PJOK learning significantly improves student learning
outcomes. This increase is most likely due to a more active, innovative, and
enjoyable learning method.
