pengaruh kepercayaan diri dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas x sma negeri 19 pekanbaru
This study aims to analyze the influence of self-confidence and learning
independence on students' learning outcomes in Economics subjects for class X at
SMA Negeri 19 Pekanbaru. The issue raised is the low learning outcomes of
students, which are suspected to be caused by a lack of self-confidence and learning
independence. The methodology used is a descriptive quantitative approach with a
population of 215 students and a sample of 57 students taken using proportional
random sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires to
measure self-confidence and learning independence, as well as documentation of
final exam scores for learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using
multiple linear regression to test the influence of independent variables on the
dependent variable. The results show that self-confidence and learning
independence have a positive and significant effect on students' learning outcomes,
with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 22.8%. The t-test indicates that selfconfidence
and learning independence each significantly influence learning
outcomes, with significance values of 0.020 and 0.001, respectively. These findings
emphasize the importance of developing self-confidence and learning independence
in improving students' learning outcomes.
