perbandingan efektivitas parasetamol dan ibuprofen terhadap nilai skor nyeri menggunakan skala cries pada pasien anak usia 1-12 bulan pasca operasi di rsud arifin achmad provinsi riau
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of paracetamol and ibuprofen on postoperative pain scores in children aged 1-12 months who underwent surgical procedures at the Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital in Riau Province. Pain scores were measured using the CRIES Scale, which involves both physiological and behavioral parameters to provide a more comprehensive assessment of pain in pediatric patients. This study employed an experimental design with a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) - Single Blind method, where patients were randomly assigned to two groups: one receiving paracetamol and the other receiving ibuprofen.
The results showed that patients receiving ibuprofen experienced a significantly greater reduction in pain scores compared to those receiving paracetamol, especially at 12 hours and 72 hours post-preemptive analgesic administration. In the ibuprofen group, the majority of patients were pain-free at 72 hours post-surgery, whereas most patients in the paracetamol group experienced mild pain. This study concludes that the CRIES scale scores for ibuprofen were lower than those for paracetamol in children aged 1-12 months post-surgery.
