This research was conducted due to the current digital developments, which have significantly transformed the landscape of higher education, particularly in learning methods. Students, as a generation of digital natives, are increasingly adept at utilizing technology, reflected in their ability to create innovative and creative digital learning media. This phenomenon raises important questions about the extent to which the use of digital learning media can influence and develop student creativity.
This study aims to determine whether there are any drivers of the use of digital learning media applications on student creativity in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education study program. The benefits of this research are expected to contribute to increasing knowledge and insight related to the field of Pancasila and Citizenship Education, serve as a new reference for other researchers studying similar issues, and add to the literature regarding sanctions for student discipline.
The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau, located at the Bina Widya Campus KM 12.5 Simpang Baru, Pekanbaru. study, the author used a questionnaire as a research instrument with 22 statements. The population in this study were all active students of the 2021, 2022, and 2023 intakes of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. Determination of the number of samples using a significance level of 10% of the entire population using the Slovin formula and obtained a sample of 70 students. With the consideration that the results would be more accurate, the researcher set the sample to 100 students of the 2021, 2022, and 2023 intakes of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau.
From the results of data analysis in this study, it was found that: there is a positive and significant influence between the Use of Digital Learning Media Applications on Student Creativity in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. This shows that F count 135.621 ≥ F Table 3.938 and the calculated significance value is 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so that simultaneously the use of digital learning media applications (X) on Student Creativity (Y) is 58.1% while 41.9% is caused by the influence of other factors not examined in this study.
