The results of observations show that the attitude of nationalism of students in the history learning process is still low, therefore this study aims to determine, 1) teacher activities by using hypnoteaching learning models in history learning class XI MA PPHM Pangkalan Kerinci. 2) To find out student activities by using hypnoteaching learning model in history learning class XI MA PPHM Pangkalan Kerinci. 3) To determine the nationalism attitude of students in class XI MA PPHM Pangkalan Kerinci by using the hypnoteaching learning model using documentary videos in history lessons. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) and the instrument used is an observation sheet. The results of this study concluded that in cycle I teacher activity obtained an average score of 66.6% (good) and increased in cycle II with an average score of 87.5% (very good). Student activities in cycle I obtained an average score of 57.78% (sufficient) and increased in cycle II to 80.49% (very good). As for students' nationalism attitude in cycle I obtained an average score of 42.52% (quite good) and increased in cycle II to 76.1% (good). Based on the results of the study, the hypnoteaching learning model can improve students' nationalism attitude in history class XI MA PPHM Pangkalan Kerinci.
