Implementasi Algoritma Depth First Search (Dfs) Untuk Menelusuri Hubungan Pada Silsilah Keluarga Dalam Budaya Jawa
ABSTRACT
Javanese culture has a complex family genealogy system, covering up to 18 levels of ancestors and descendants, as well as various horizontal terms such as siblings, uncles, and cousins. This complexity often makes it difficult for younger generations to understand their kinship relationships. This study implements a Depth First Search (DFS) algorithm combined with a Rules Engine to automatically trace family relationships. Depth First Search (DFS) is used to trace lineage paths to a certain depth, while the Rules Engine translates the search results into Javanese kinship terms. Testing using family data from several experts showed that the system can display results with over 95% interpretation accuracy and efficient execution time.
