Analisis Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Menggunakan Aplikasi Berbasis Laravel pada Mesin Sheeter di Finishing Department PT. Riau Pulp and Paper
ABSTRACT
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a key indicator for evaluating machine effectiveness in the manufacturing industry, including the sheeter (paper-cutting) machine at PT. Riau Pulp and Paper (PT. RAPP). The sheeter machine functions to cut large paper rolls into sheets according to production requirements, with a focus on precision and efficiency. OEE consists of three main components: availability, performance, and quality, which together provide an overview of how optimally the machine operates. This study aims to design and develop a web-based application that can automatically calculate and analyze OEE using the Laravel framework, known for its efficiency and security. After performing calculations using the Laravel-based application for the sheeter machine in the cut-size line at PT. RAPP, it was found that the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value has not yet reached the world-class standard of 85%. Following a big losses analysis, it was determined that the primary factor affecting the OEE value was set-up and adjustment losses, with a total time loss of 226.675 minutes or 54.38% of the total time loss on the sheeter cut-size line during the January-June 2024 period.
