Pengaruh Pajak Daerah Dan Retribusi Daerah Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2011-2024

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the effect of regional taxes and regional levies on
the economic growth of Pekanbaru City for the period 2011–2024. Regional taxes
and levies are essential components of Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) that play
a strategic role in supporting regional development financing and driving local
economic growth. The research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptiveassociative
method. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from
the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and related government agencies. The data
were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software.
Prior to the regression analysis, classical assumption tests were conducted,
including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests,
to ensure the reliability of the model. The results show that partially, Regional Taxes
have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of Pekanbaru City
while regional levies have not effect and have not significant on the economic
growth of Pekanbaru City. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence
economic growth.
