pengembangan modul ajar berbasis ppjbl berbantuan permainan rakyat pada materi menulis teks prosedur siswa mts
This thesis, titled The Development of a Teaching Module Based on PPjBL Assisted by Traditional Games on Procedural Text Writing Material for MTs Students, discusses the importance of education in shaping character and the quality of human resources in Indonesia. Education not only serves to increase knowledge but also functions as a means of building moral, social, and cultural values. The education curriculum must be adapted to the development of science and the needs of society, in order to produce graduates who are not only intellectually capable but also possess integrity and critical thinking skills.
One of the approaches proposed in this thesis is the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which provides freedom and flexibility in the teaching and learning process. This curriculum is designed to tailor learning materials to the local context and the students’ potential, thereby fostering creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning. This thesis also emphasizes the crucial role of Indonesian language learning, particularly in writing skills, which still face several challenges such as low student motivation, difficulty organizing ideas, and limited mastery of grammar. To address these issues, a teaching module was developed based on the Problem and Project Based Learning (PPjBL) model, assisted by traditional games as a form of local wisdom integration.
This research used the ADDIE development model. The results showed that the implementation of the PPjBL-based teaching module assisted by traditional games significantly improved students' writing skills and learning outcomes at the MTs level and received excellent evaluations from both teachers and students.
