Komparasi metode analisis diskriminan dan regresi logistik dalam klasifikasi kasus hipertensi di kecamayan Bunut
hypertension, commonly referred to as high blood pressure, is a chronic condition characterized by elevated pressure within the arterial walls. An individual is considered to have hypertension when their resting blood pressure exceeds 140/90 mmHg, confirmed by two separate measurements taken five minutes apart. This study aims to identify the most effective method for classifying hypertension cases in Bunut District by comparing Discriminant Analysis and Logistic Regression approaches. The findings indicate that classification using Discriminant Analysis produced accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, APER, and RMSE values of 98.53%, 98.61%, 98.25%, 0.0146, and 0.0981, respectively. Meanwhile, Logistic Regression achieved accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, APER, and RMSE values of 99.27%, 99.77%, 97.46%, 0.0073, and 0.0212, respectively. These results suggest that Logistic Regression demonstrates better classification performance compared to Discriminant Analysis.
