This Research, entitled “An Analysis of Language Learning Strategies of the Students of English Study Program of FKIP,” aims to find out the language learning strategies used by students, and also to find out the most and the least used language learning strategies by students of the English Study Program of FKIP. This study used a descriptive quantitative research design, with a population of 118 students and 39 students as a sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire and supported by interviews. The result shows that students tend to use all types of language learning strategies. However, the most frequently used is metacognitive strategies, while the least frequently used is memory strategies. Metacognitive strategies are the most used language learning strategies by students, with a mean score of 3.83, which is higher than other strategies. Followed by compensation strategies with a mean score of 3.55, cognitive strategies with a mean score of 3.53, affective strategies with a mean score of 3.52, social strategies with a mean score of 3.49, and memory strategies with a mean score of 3.19.
