developing e-module for vocabulary in writing descriptive text by using flashcard for high school
The constant changes in curriculum had made the teachers struggled to keep up with the use of technology in their learning and teaching process. While the researcher focused on the vocabulary in writing descriptive text by using flashcard for any high school to use, the researcher chose English teachers and some students from SMAN 3 Pekanbaru as the basis. Therefore, this research aimed to develop an e-module that could be used by both teacher and student even in class or by themselves to study. This research applied the 4d model of Research and Development (R&D) method from Tiagaragajan et al. (1974). The instruments used in this research are validation sheet from material and media expert and also feedback questionnaire from English teachers and some students at SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The research obtained result 83% which is counted as “Valid” from the material expert, 94% counted as “Very Valid” from media expert, 93% which is counted as “Very Good” from teachers feedback questionnaire, and 91% which is counted as “Very Good” from students feedback questionnaire. Hence, the e-module was declared as valid and feasible to be used for high school.
