Pengaruh Penambahan Vitamin C Dan Umur Pemberian Pakan Pastaterfermentasi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus)
TheAsian redtail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) is a native Indonesian fish species. Demand for Asian redtail catfish is also increasing with the increasing demand for Asian redtail catfish. The price of Asian redtail catfish is also included in the expensive freshwater fish group with a price range of IDR 50,000-70,000/kg. This study aims to determine the effect of adding vitamin C and the age of fermentation paste on the growth and survival of larvae. What is the best dose of vitamin C and the age of fermentation paste administration and to determine the interaction of vitamin C addition and the age of fermentation paste administration on the growth and survival of Asian redtail catfish larvae. This study was conducted from March to April 2025 at the Fish Breeding and Cultivation Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau. The method used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors, namely: the first factor is the dose of vitamin C with 3 levels of treatment, namely, 250mg, 500mg, 750mg. While the second factor is the age of administration with 3 levels of treatment, namely day 4, day 6 and day 8. This study was repeated 3 times. Fish larvae were obtained from artificial spawning carried out at the Fish Breeding and Cultivation Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheriesand Marine Sciences, University of Riau. Feed was given at satiation at 01.00 WIB, 07.00 WIB, 13.00 WIB, 19.00 WIB. The parameters observed were absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, specific growth rate, larval survival, larval response to feed and water quality. The results showed that differences in vitamin C dosage and administration time had a very significant effect (P
