Analisis Perbandingan Pendapatan Usaha Restoran Seafood Di Kecamatan Sekupang Kota Batam Provinsi Kepulauan Riau
This study aims to analyze and compare the business income of two seafood restaurants in Sekupang Sub District, Batam City, namely Kelong Arjam and Gerai Nelayan 2M. The research method employed was a survey, with primary data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, as well as secondary data from the restaurants’ financial records. The analysis was carried out by calculating total revenue, fixed costs, variable costs, and net income, which were then compared using an independent two-sample t-test. The results of the study indicate that Gerai Nelayan 2M has higher total revenue and net income compared to Kelong Arjam. This difference is influenced by service capacity, menu variation, digital marketing strategies, and supporting facilities. Statistical tests confirmed the existence of a significant difference between the incomes of the two restaurants. The findings of this study provide insights for coastal culinary business owners to increase income through menu innovation, service improvement, and optimization of marketing strategies.
