This study aims to determine the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years before and after being given the treatment of playing paper quilling at Kindergarten Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative experiment with a research design design model pre experiment one group pretest posttest design. The research population was 105 children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru, the sample used was class B5 children with a total of 20 children. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that the child's fine motor ability before treatment with a percentage of 36.25% then given treatment increased by a percentage of 84.38%. The data collection technique is carried out through observation, and the primary data is carried out directly by the researcher. Data analysis uses the t-test. The results showed that there was an improvement in fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years judging from the average score before and after treatment. The results of data analysis obtained a tally of 39.83 which is greater than the table of 1,729 from this study, it can be concluded that playing paper quilling has an effect on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. It can be concluded that in this study there is an effect of playing paper quilling before and after on the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru.
