pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan persepsi tentang profesi guru terhadap minat menjadi guru pada mahasiswa fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan universitas riau
Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of family environment and perceptions of the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher among students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. A sample of 94 students was selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that family environment and perceptions of the teaching profession have both a partial and simultaneous positive and significant influence on interest in becoming a teacher. The results indicate that partially, family environment (t = 3.933; Sig < 0.001) and perceptions of the teaching profession (t = 3.606; Sig < 0.001) significantly influence interest in becoming a teacher. Simultaneously, both also have a significant influence (F = 30.987; Sig < 0.001) with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 40.5%. This indicates that a better family environment increases students' interest in choosing the teaching profession, and a more positive student view of the teaching profession increases their interest in becoming a teacher.
