Low student learning achievement is often caused by a lack of effective learning time and minimal learning assistance at home. To overcome this, the government has implemented a full day school that provides longer learning time and direct supervision from teachers. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of full day school on student learning achievement at MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires, documentation in the form of Mid-Semester Exam (UTS) scores, and interviews. The results of the study showed that the implementation of full day school was in the good category based on student perceptions. And the implementation of full day school has a positive and significant effect on improving student learning achievement, especially in economics subjects, which is 0.444. The conclusion of this study shows that full day school can be an effective learning strategy in helping students achieve better learning achievement. The implication is that schools are advised to continue to improve the quality of the implementation of full day school by paying attention to learning comfort, variations in learning methods, and adequate facility support.
