Profil Kasus Korban Hidup Akibat Trauma Selain Kekerasan Tajam Dan Tumpul Yang Diperiksa Di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Periode 2020-2024
Trauma is one of the causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. In addition to sharp and blunt force injuries, there are various other forms of trauma that can also cause serious injuries, such as thermal, electrical, explosive, and chemical trauma. This study aims to determine the profile of living victims of trauma other than sharp and blunt force injuries examined at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru during the 2020–2024 period. This study used a retrospective descriptive design by reviewing the Visum et Repertum and medical records of living victims of trauma other than sharp and blunt force injuries examined at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru during the 2020–2024 period. The data were analyzed univariately to describe the frequency distribution of each variable. The results showed that there were 21 cases of living victims of trauma other than sharp and blunt force injuries. The most common age group was 15–29 years (9 cases; 42.9%). Most victims were male (13 cases; 61.9%). The most frequent occupation category was unemployed (7 cases; 33.3%). The most common type of injury was thermal trauma (17 cases; 81.0%), with the upper extremities being the most frequent injury location (16 cases; 76.2%). The most frequent degree of injury was moderate (13 cases; 61.9%), and in most victims, no absolute medical intervention was performed (14 cases; 66.7%).
