Pengaruh Kombinasi Perendaman Hormon Tiroksin Dan Recombinant Growth Hormone Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Jelawat (Leptobarbus Hoevenii Bleeker, 1851)
Leptobarbus hoevenii is a high-value freshwater fish, but its aquaculture developmentislimited by slowlarval growth and lowsurvival rates. One promising approach to overcome these challenges is the application of thyroxine and recombinant growth hormone (rGH). This study aimed to evaluate the effect and optimal dosage of the immersion combination of thyroxine and rGH on the growth and survival of L. hoevenii larvae. The experiment was conducted for 40 days using a 2-factorial CompletelyRandomizedDesign (CRD) with 9 treatmentcombinations and 3 replications. Observed parameters included absolute weight gain, absolute length, specific growth rate, and survival rate. The best results were obtained from theT3R3 treatment (0.15 mg/Lthyroxine and 3 mg/LrGH), with anabsolute weight of 0,49±0,01 g, absolute length of 2,95±0,09 cm, specific growth rate of 10,73±0,03%/day, andsurvivalrate of91±1,9%. The synergisticactionof thyroxine and rGH effectively enhanced metabolism efficiency and significantly improved the growth and survival of L. hoevenii larvae.
