Efektifitas filte rdengan jenis tanaman air berbeda Terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup Ikan nila (Oreochromisniloticus) Pada sistem resirkulasi
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using filters with different types of aquatic plants on the growth and survival of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in a recirculation system. The study was conducted for 56 days from March to May 2025 at the Hatchery of the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau. The research method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications, namely: P1 (cotton fiber and bioball), P2 (cotton fiber, bioball, and pak choy plants), P3 (cotton fiber, bioball, and kale plants), and P4 (cotton fiber, bioball, and lettuce plants). The results showed that the recirculation cultivation system with a combination of filters and different aquatic plants had a significant effect on the growth and survival of tilapia. Treatment P3 using a combination of filters produces water quality including temperature 28.4-28.9℃, pH 6.7-7.2 dissolved oxygen 4.69-6.32 ppm, ammonia 0.0038-0.0938 mg/L, nitrite 0.0473-0.2890 mg/L and nitrate 0.1143-0.4813 mg/L, absolute weight (15.88±0.68 g/tail), absolute length growth (12.7±1.53 cm), and specific growth rate (3.25±0.05%), feed conversion ratio (1.26±0.02%), feed efficiency (79.62±0.99%), and survival (95.56±1.92%).
