Pengaruh Penambahan Enzim Papain Dalam Pakan Dengan Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Ikan Gabus (Channa Striata) Dengan Sistem Resirkulasi
This research was conducted for 56 days from April to June 2025 at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding papain enzyme with different doses in feed on the growth and survival of snakehead fish (Channa striata) with a recirculation system, as well as to identify the best dose of papain enzyme to improve the growth of snakehead fish. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 1 factor with 5 treatments and 3 replications, resulting in 15 experimental units. The treatments in this study were: Without papain enzyme, Addition of papain enzyme at a dose of 12.5 g/kg feed, Addition of papain enzyme at a dose of 15.0 g/kg feed, Addition of papain enzyme at a dose of 17.5 g/kg feed, and Addition of papain enzyme at a dose of 20.0 g/kg feed. The best treatment was obtained at the dose of 20,0g/kg feed, with an absolute weight growth of 4.68 g, an absolute length growth of 5.62 cm, a specific growth rate of 2.86%, feed efficiency of 63.56%, food convertion ratio 1,57, survival rate of 95%, and feed digestibility of 63.24%.
