Distribusi Dan Kelimpahan Ikan Bungaair (Clupeichthys Goniognathus, Bleeker 1855) Di Waduk Koto Panjang Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar Provinsi Riau

Koto Panjang Reservoir is one of the reservoirs built by damming the flow of the Kampar Kanan and Batang Mahat Rivers, which stretches over 12,400 ha. A lot of nekton biodiversity species of nekton that found in this aquatic, in riverstream and in reservoir. One of nekton that found in inlet Koto Panjang reservoir is Sumatran River Sprat fish. This study aims to determine the distribution and abundance Sumatran River Sprat fish (Clupeichthys goniognathus, Bleeker 1855) in Koto Panjang reservoir. The method used in this research is the survey method, namely direct observation. Data collection was carried out in September 2024 using purposive sampling method and sampling was carried out at 3 stations and 2 sampling points using fishing gear in the form of lift nets. The results showed that fish abundance in Koto Panjang Reservoir experienced significant temporal (time) and spatial (location) variations. The highest fish catch was obtained in the first week at all stations, with details of Station 3 totaling 202,895 individuals, Station 1 totaling 187,922 individuals, and Station 2 totaling 179,025 individuals.
