In the current digital era, the development of digital media and information technology is expected to pose challenges in accessing, selecting, and using information from the evolving digital era and to improve student learning. This study aims to determine the effect of applying web-based literacy to increase students' reading interest. This research uses a quantitative method with an experimental research design. The results show that the application of web-based literacy has an impact on the reading literacy of 3rd-grade students. The average percentage score of the control group pretest was 85.77%, categorized as high motivation, and the average percentage score of the posttest for the control group was 91.87%, categorized as very high. Meanwhile, the average percentage score of the experimental group pretest was 87.5%, categorized as high, and the average percentage score of the posttest was 98.37%, categorized as very high. After undergoing changes, there was an improvement in the students' reading literacy. The application of web-based literacy will significantly support the effectiveness of learning and help students access the internet in more beneficial ways.
