This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in history subjects through the application of barcode-based timeline posters. This research was conducted at SMAN 15 Pekanbaru with class XI as the research subject. This research used the method of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with Kemmis and Mc Taggart Model whose implementation was carried out in cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of barcode-based timeline posters can significantly improve student learning outcomes. This study concludes that the application of barcode-based timeline posters can be an effective alternative learning method to improve student learning outcomes. The improvement in student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in class average scores in each cycle. This study concludes that the application of barcode-based timeline posters can be an alternative learning method that is effective for improving student learning outcomes and is very attractive to students and is very flexible where students can use it to learn anywhere.
