Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas Xi Sma Negeri 12 Pekanbaru
This study aims to improve students' learning motivation in history subjects for class XI at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru through the Inquiry Learning Model. The research method used is Quantitative Research and the instruments used are teaching modules as learning tools and questionnaires/survey sheets. This research is a type of quantitative research, where the data collected is in the form of numbers with data analysis using statistics to find answers to the formulation of a research problem. According to Sugiyono, the research method is a scientific way to obtain data with certain purposes and uses. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the score of the variable for increasing student learning motivation is between 30 and 50, the sub-total variable for increasing student learning motivation obtained from the results of the study is 1950, the theoretical score of this variable for each respondent is 10 x 5 = 50, because the number of respondents is 43 students, the criterion score is 50 x 43 = 2,150. So the increase in learning motivation in history subjects is 1950: 2,150 = 0.906 or 87.6% of the criteria applied. Based on the research category of student learning motivation scores with a percentage criterion of 90.6% which shows the predetermined criteria of 90% - 99% is included in the very high category.
