ABSTRACT
Province of Riau, known for its abundant natural resources, boasts a diverse range of sectors, including oil and gas. However, its development faces numerous challenges. One vital aspect is effective and efficient logistics management, particularly in resource management, such as heavy equipment transportation for raw materials and products. Therefore, the system must be modified with appropriate methods to optimize it. One approach is to utilize the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm, a metaheuristic inspired by the social behavior of flocks of birds searching for food. PSO is capable of providing solutions with more stable and near-optimal quality, especially in complex situations.
