This research was motivated by the problem of a common occurrence in the learning process: some students do not follow the teacher's explanations attentively, making it difficult for them to answer questions. Furthermore, students' low critical thinking skills are also reflected in their lack of mastery of the learning material. This is due to the lack of variety in the teaching methods used by teachers and the lack of student involvement in the learning process. Students are less active in the learning process, resulting in a decline in their skills. Therefore, the researcher was interested in conducting research to determine the effect of the guided discussion learning model on the development of students' 21st-century thinking skills by going directly into the field and observing real-world conditions.
The research question is: Is there an effect of the guided discussion learning model on the development of 21st-century thinking skills at the Integrated Agricultural Vocational High School (SMKN Pertanian Terpadu) in Riau Province? The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the guided discussion learning model on the development of 21st-century thinking skills at the Integrated Agricultural Vocational High School (SMKN Pertanian Terpadu) in Riau Province. A learning model is a plan or framework used to organize classroom activities or guided learning.
The guided discussion model is a learning model that engages students at the Integrated Agricultural Vocational High School (SMKN Pertanian Terpadu) in discussions guided by the teacher using questions that stimulate student thinking. It aims to encourage students to participate more actively in the discussions.

This research is a quantitative experimental study using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The population in this study were 10th-grade students at the Integrated Agricultural Vocational High School (SMKN Pertanian Terpadu) in Riau Province. Riau consisting of 133 students and the data sample of this study used purposive sampling, namely 1 class taken with a total of 27 students, namely class X Agrinak. The Use of the Influence of Guided Discussion Learning Models on the Development of 21st Century Thinking Skills at Integrated Agricultural Vocational High Schools in Riau Province, because it was obtained. Based on the results of the normality test calculation, the results of the Posttest X Agrinak were 0.431> 0.05, the results of the Pretest X Agrinak were 0.172> 0.05, which means that the posttest results were both normally distributed. Based on these results, it can be concluded that both data from the Pre-Test and Post-Test results are known to have a significance value (Sig.) for all data through the Shapiro Wilk test> 0.05, so it can be concluded that the research data is normally distributed. Based on the results of the Paired Sample T Test above, the results of the Pretest and Posttest data for class X Agrinak. Given that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between 21st-century thinking skills in the pretest and posttest data. It can be concluded that the guided discussion learning model can enhance the development of 21st-century thinking skills.
The analysis results show that the average pre-test score of 58.56 increased to 104.52 in the post-test, with a sample size of 27 students. Therefore, the results of this study indicate that the Guided Discussion Learning Model has an effect on the development of 21st-century thinking skills at the Integrated Agricultural Vocational School in Riau Province. Based on the N-gain score calculation, the average N-gain score for the class after being given the Guided Discussion Model treatment was 67.6411, or 67.64%, which falls into the Fairly Effective category. The minimum N-gain score is 41.27% and the maximum is 94.12%. Meanwhile, the average N-gain score before treatment was 49.8675 or 49.87%, which is included in the Less Effective category.

Based on the N-Gain results, it can be concluded that the influence of the Guided Discussion Learning Model on the Development of 21st Century Thinking Skills in the class after treatment was quite effective in increasing students' learning motivation and 21st century thinking skills, which had increased significantly compared to before treatment.
