Perbedaan Warna Lampu Terhadap Tingkah Laku Ikan Sepat Rawa (Trichogaster Trichopterus)

Fish behavior is greatly influenced by how fish adapt to their environment, and this behavior is manifested in the form of body movements both inside and outside the fish's body. One environmental factor that can influence the color of the environment is the color of the lights used in aquariums or fish ponds. Objective: This study aims to determine the behavior of swamp gourami fish towards different light colors and to find out which light color is most preferred by swamp gourami fish. Methodology: The method used in this study is an experimental method conducted in a laboratory. The population in this study was conducted by conducting an experiment using a large square water tank as a research container containing 40 swamp gourami fish (Trichogaster trichepterus), then tested by providing 4 different incandescent/LED light colors on each side of the water tank for 14 days. Conclusion: Red light activity shows a fairly stable and even distribution from day to day. The average percentage of red time ranges from 2.5% to 4.5% in each time interval. For yellow lights, the average percentage of time per minute ranges from 3% to 4.5%, with some points reaching more than 5%, especially in minutes such as the 22nd, 24th, 28th, and 30th on certain days. Although inconsistent, the 24th, 28th, and 30th minutes often appear as times with higher activity on some days. Meanwhile, blue lights have a low and stable duration during the 14 days of observation. The percentage contribution of this activity time in each interval ranges from 1% to 5%, without any significant spikes. The white light shows a distribution that tends to be stable and even on most days. The percentage of white light time ranges from 3% to 6%, with some peaks reaching more than 6%, especially on days 7, 8, 11, and 12. Days 4 and 11 stand out with a high level of white light consistency, indicating relatively uniform conditions.
