Pengawasan pengungsi rohingya di kota Pekanbaru

The issue of Rohingya refugees is of serious concern to the international community because it involves human rights violations, security, and social stability in destination countries, including Indonesia. Pekanbaru City is one of the transit locations for Rohingya refugees, so effective supervision is needed to avoid potential social conflicts. This research aims to analyze the supervision process of Rohingya refugees in Pekanbaru City and identify factors that become obstacles in its implementation. The theory used refers to Manullang's concept of supervision, which includes three main indicators: Standard Setting, Assessment, and Corrective Action. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that supervision is carried out by Kesbangpol as the head of the task force with the Rudenim. However, supervision has not been optimal due to limited facilities, lack of human resources, and lack of inter-agency coordination. An integrated strategy is needed to make supervision more efficient and responsive to the developing situation.
