Analisis Risiko Menggunakan Metode Hirarc Pada Stasiun Perebusan Di Pt Murini Samsam Kabupaten Bengkalis
ABSTRACT
PT Murini SamSam used high-pressure machines and equipment that had the
potential to cause occupational hazards. The high-risk stage was the sterilization
process of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) using pressurized steam, which required an
effective safety system to minimize accidents and health problems. This study
aimed to provide risk control recommendations at PT Murini SamSam, located in
Bengkalis Regency. The research was conducted at the palm oil sterilization station
of PT Murini SamSam, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The study used an
observational method with both qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive
approaches. The qualitative descriptive method was used to identify hazards, assess
risks and implement control measures. Meanwhile, the quantitative descriptive
method was used to calculate risk assessments using probability and severity scales.
The results of the risk assessment at the sterilization station of PT Murini SamSam
showed a decrease in risk levels. The study concluded that the sterilization station
at PT Murini SamSam had physical, mechanical, chemical, and environmental
hazards. Most risks were initially moderate and high, but after control measures,
high risks were eliminated and reduced to low and moderate. Risk control through
engineering design, administration and PPE effectively lowered risk levels and
improved workplace safety.
