Manajemen bank sampah dalang collection di kelurahan bambu kuning kota Pekanbaru

Dalang Collection Waste Bank in Bambu Kuning Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, plays an important role in community-based waste management. Nevertheless, its implementation still encounters several obstacles, such as waste deposited by customers not in accordance with the guidelines, inconsistency in waste collection schedules, and a waste bank system that is less attractive to some members of the community. This study aims to analyze the application of management functions, including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, as well as to identify the obstacles encountered. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the management functions have been implemented, but not optimally. The main obstacles include a lack of responsibility in task execution and inadequate operational facilities. Based on these findings, the study recommends the formulation of written planning, strengthening internal coordination, enhancing community outreach, and improving facilities so that waste management through the Dalang Collection Waste Bank can be carried out more effectively and sustainably.
