Sharp force injury is an act that causes partial or complete tissue damage to the human body resulting from the use of a sharp object. According to data from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), the crime rate in Indonesia continues to increase. Visum et Repertum (VeR) is an official document that contains descriptions of injuries which can be used as evidence in court. This study aimed to determine the profile of living victims of sharp force injuries examined at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru during the period 2020–2024. This study used a descriptive retrospective design using all VeR and medical record data of living victims of sharp force injuries from 2020 to 2024. The data were analyzed univariately and presented in the form of incidence graphs and frequency distribution tables. The results showed that most cases occurred in 2024 (28.3%), with the majority of victims being male (90.6%), aged 15–29 years (52%), and working as self- employed (28.3%). Most injuries were located on the upper extremities (45.7%), with superficial depth (55.9%) and moderate degree (81.1%). Most of the victims received mandatory medical treatment (63.8%). In conclusion, living victims of sharp force injuries were predominantly male adolescents and young adults who worked as self-employed, with injuries mainly located on the upper extremities, superficial in depth, moderate in degree, and mostly requiring mandatory medical treatment.
