This study aims to determine the influence of education, training and work motivation on teacher performance at SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru. The population of this study was 32 teachers of SMP Babussalam Pekanbaru who were taken using the total sampling technique.
This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the study showed that the teacher performance variable was in the very good category with an average of 97%, the education variable was in the doubtful category with an average of 53%, the training variable was in the very good category with an average of 53%, the work motivation variable was in the very good category with an average of 100%. Meanwhile, based on the results of the path analysis, it shows that education has an effect on teacher motivation with 0.515, education does not have a significant effect on teacher performance, namely 0.90, training does not have an effect on work motivation, namely 0.050, training has an effect and is significant on teacher performance, namely 0.496, motivation has an effect and is significant on teacher performance, namely 0.478, education has an effect on performance through motivation, namely 0.255, training has a significant effect on performance through motivation, namely 0.478.
The principal is expected to pay more attention to all members of the school by always providing high motivation, paying attention to education and training that supports teacher performance.
