In the Semester Credit System (SKS) scheme, students choose the number
of courses and study load they take each semester at an educational institution
based on their talents, interests, and learning styles. Therefore, to provide highquality
training, program administration must be carried out effectively. The
objectives of this study were to: (1) determine the suitability of the SKS program
management process indicators with the Merdeka Curriculum of MAN 2
Pekanbaru City. (2) to determine how the SKS Merdeka Curriculum program at
MAN 2 Pekanbaru City manages student achievement metrics. (3) to determine
how impact indicator management affects the realization of the SKS program in
the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. This type of research is
qualitative descriptive research, and uses observation, interviews, and
documentation reviews as data collection methods. The components of the
madrasah that can be used as data sources in this case the organizers of the SKS
program are informants or participants in this study. The Miles and Huberman
approach, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and
drawing conclusions (verification), is used to analyze this study.
The results of research on Management of the Semester Credit System
(SKS) Program in the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, include
1) planning for the SKS program at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, including holding
joint meetings, preparing RENSTRA/RENJA and SOP, mapping students, and
socializing the SKS program. 2) organizing the SKS program at MAN 2
Pekanbaru City, including the appointment of coordinators, PA and the SKS
program implementation team, as well as the division of tasks and roles for each.
3) the implementation of the SKS program at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City includes
using the Merdeka Curriculum structure with a digital learning process and
providing learning services according to each individual's abilities. 4) control of
the SKS program at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City includes observing the
implementation of the SKS program in accordance with the vision and mission of
the madrasah, supervision by the madrasah supervisor, head of the madrasah and
deputy head of academic affairs to ensure that the SKS program is implemented
according to the implementation guidelines and carrying out summative and
formative assessments as a form of student learning outcomes.
The conclusion of this research is that Management of the Semester
Credit System (SKS) Program in the Merdeka Curriculum at MAN 2
Pekanbaru City, has been implemented well in accordance with the vision and
mission of the madrasah and the guidelines for administering the SKS program.
