pengaruh literasi digital dan optimisme terhadap kompetensi profesional guru di sekolah dasar negeri gugus selembayung madani kecamatan tuah madani kota pekanbaru
This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method, aiming to determine the influence of digital literacy and optimism on teachers' profesional competence. The research was carried out at State Elementary Schools in the Selembayung Madani Cluster, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City, involving a sample of 168 teachers, determined using Slovin’s formula with a 5% margin of error, so that the results could proportionally represent the population. Data were collected through questionnaires developed based on indicators from each research variable, namely digital literacy, optimism, and teachers’ profesional competence.
The results of data analysis showed a significant and positive influence of digital literacy on teachers’ profesional competence, as indicated by a t-value of 3.252, which exceeded the t-table value of 1.654, with a significance level of 0.001. Meanwhile, optimism did not have a significant influence on teachers’ profesional competence, as indicated by a t-value of 1.611, lower than the t-table value, and a significance level of 0.109. Furthermore, simultaneously, digital literacy and optimism had a significant influence on teachers’ profesional competence, as reflected by an F-value of 7.637, greater than the F-table value of 3.05, with a significance level of 0.001. These findings confirm that mastery of digital literacy is an important factor in improving teachers’ profesional competence in elementary school environments, while optimism, although not yet showing a significant influence, should still be fostered to support the creation of a positive and conducive work environment.
