Pengaruh Perendaman Dosis Hormon Tiroksin Yang Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Lele Lokal (Clarias Batrachus)
Catfish is one type of freshwater fish that is cultivated and is a food ingredient for Indonesian people, therefore it is necessary to carry out cultivation engineering that can increase fish growth to meet the needs of the community. This study aims to determine the effect of thyroxine hormone immersion on the growth and survival of local catfish larvae and to determine the optimal dose of thyroxine hormone immersion on the growth rate and survival of local catfish larvae. The study was conducted at the Fish Breeding and Cultivation Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau. The local catfish larvae applied in this study were 5-day-old larvae from artificial spawning. The larvae needed were 360. The method used in this study was an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions so that it required 12 test container units. P0 (without thyroxine hormone), P1 (0.2 mg/L), P2 (0.4 mg/L), P3 (0.6 mg/L). The results showed that soaking local catfish larvae using thyroxine hormone solution with different doses gave a very significant effect (P
