Kebiasaan Makan Ikan Kapiek (Barbonymus Schwanenfeldii Bleeker, 1853) Di Sungai Kampar Desa Mentulik, Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hilir, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau
Barbonymus schwanenfeldii is a freshwater fish species inhabiting the Kampar Kiri River in Desa Mentulik. This study aims to investigate the stomach contents of this species and examine their relationship with fish size, sex, and environmental conditions. The research was conducted in October 2024, with fish samples collected from local fishermen over four sampling sessions within one month. The stomach contents were analyzed using the volumetric method, and the Index of Preponderance (IP) was calculated. A total of 43 fish were collected, comprising 12 males and 31 females. The analysis revealed that the stomach contents consisted of microplastics, wood detritus, leaf litter, and algae. The highest IP value was found in algae (73.79%), followed by combined detritus (24.59%), and microplastics (1.62%).
