Evaluasi Kinerja Penyulang Kp 02 - Pk Kampung Aie Berdasarkan Keandalan Indeks Saifi Dan Saidi
ABSTRACT
The reliability of the radial feeder KP02–PK Kampung Aie remains low, as indicated by the high frequency of power outages experienced by customers under existing conditions. This study evaluates network maneuvering by utilizing alternative power supplies from PLTD Sibigo and KP03–PK Alafan as parallel paths to limit the affected area and outage duration. Two main approaches are employed: the Section Technique, which maps the distribution network into several sections to calculate local reliability parameters (λ, U, r), and the Basic Evaluation method, which aggregates system reliability. The SAIFI and SAIDI indices are calculated for both pre- and post-maneuver conditions and compared with the SPLN 68-2:1986 standard, adjusted for a total line length of approximately 113 km and the Sumatera regional factor of 1.2. The results show a reduction in SAIFI from 21.98 to 5.78 interruptions/customer/year and SAIDI from 24.82 to 6.47 hours/customer/year after the maneuver, with compliance to the adjusted standards of SAIFI 20.34 interruptions/customer/year and SAIDI 108.48 hours/customer/year. These findings confirm that network maneuvering significantly improves the reliability of the distribution system, particularly by reducing the frequency and duration of outages in downstream areas.
